Prilosec
Prilosec is used the the treatment of persistant
heartburn.. Prilosec (omeprazole) is an acid (proton) pump inhibitor available
as delayed-release capsules, for oral administration. PRILOSEC is indicated first
line for heartburn and other symptoms associated with GERD, erosive esophagitis,
maintenance of healed erosive esophagitis, active duodenal ulcer, active benign
gastric ulcer, pathological hypersecretory conditions, and in combination with
clarithromycin and amoxicillin or with clarithromycin for Helicobacter pylori-
associated duodenal ulcer disease. Order
Prilosec The most frequently reported adverse events with PRILOSEC
are headache, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Atrophic gastritis has been noted
occasionally in gastric corpus biopsies from patients treated long term with omeprazole.
PRILOSEC is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component
